Attending: Brian, Dan, Laura, Rachana, Raj, Stu

The following was agreed to:

  • CEDPS logging will be on by default, and separate from existing/previous logging
  • a single log4j logger.conf file will control logging for all java based components


Action items:

  • Java core logging will be updated to use uuids instead of current ID
  • gridFTP will turn on CEDPS logging by default, and log to the same directory as the log4j logging
  • check that MDS, WebMDS, and WS-Gram are all using uuids
  • all should check/update sample logs at: http://www.cedps.net/wiki/index.php/Logs
  • Dan/Brian will document how do use these logs
  • Stu will let us know when WS-GRAM with CEDPS logging is ready for testing (probably 2-3 weeks)
