Ravi Madduri is now the area lead for services

RAVi/RAVe update

  • New name needed
  • Will announce this week tech preview release/plugin
    • Installs automatically with Introduce
    • APS will use this to do submissions over GRAM with community crednetials
  • New communities
    • APS work going well
    • Contacts with TG-CABIG
      • Mats helping soon too
    • Fermi –OSG talk
      • Half FTE to help in new year

Workspace services

  • Release 1.3 in November
    • Accounting needed for ec2 and TG
    • Easier administration
    • Kate to put list online
  • Star did production run on EC2
    • Satisfied slowdown is ok
    • Next step is a sustainable image
  • Portal work had initial demo after thanksgiving
    • needs group interface before Star deployment
    • Hopefully meeting with doug will take place in early January

  • Discuss josh moving to RAVi/RAVe work
